Vida Guerra may be a model for commercial publications like FHM but that does not mean that she is a one note beauty that will only look good in the glossies in very commercial environments.As can be seen in her Playboy pictorial, Vida can also look good in more conceptual shoots. She is a natural beauty and equally natural in front of the camera. Hers is a face and body that lends itself well in front of the camera under whatever circumstances. Her shoots at the beach actually make her a good swimsuit model as well – the voluptuous kind though as her body cannot be compared to the more muscular and more toned physiques of swimsuit models. I am not taking away from Vida here. She is really beautiful and sexy its just that she does not fit the image of the swimsuit model. For me, this is a refreshing change and actually welcome it.

But the real cool thing here is that I have seen Vida in more artsy environments and she really is a great photo subject! I have some black and white photos of her that are really beautiful. She looks so soulful and vulnerable and yet smolderingly sultry. She really is the perfect photographer’s model as she can really talk to the camera. For me this is the real secret and talent of Vida – that she can communicate with you with just still photos of herself. Very few people can claim to have that kind of talent and Vida is a natural when it comes to this.
