Single from Vida’s Album

I have written many blog posts that basically revolved around Vida Guerra and her attempt to release her first album. Vida has been very proud of the aforementioned album, with her giving us updates, however vague, on how the album is doing. The said album was supposed to have been released during the early part of this year. But it was moved to the latter part of the year. Now it looks like it is going to be released next year – but there is still no certainty. The self titled album is supposed to be a dance album that has a hip hop feel to it. Vida fans are getting excited over the prospect of listening to Vida sing but that enthusiasm is getting dampened because of the delay on the album and the lack of any concrete updates that are coming from Vida’s camp.

The enthusiasm is being refueled though with the news that a single off Vida’s new album has been leaked on to the internet. I do not know what others feel about downloading MP3’s on the internet but looking at the factors that are involved with this particular situation I can say that the leakage will do Vida good. It has created interest in her album again and from what I have been hearing, most of the fans who have heard the leaked songs actually liked it so that is a great development for Vida herself. Hopefully, the leak of the single also means that the release of the actual album is now imminent.
