Vida grabs opportunities

I know that Vida is really using her popularity in order to open new doors of opportunity for her. This is not a bad thing of course, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, as some of these women so eloquently say.

Vida has taken advantage of the doors that are opening for her for being a very successful bikini / magazine model. It is actually a good decision on her part to expand her horizons and look at other opportunities that go beyond just modeling. By doing so, she can get more opportunities not only for self improvement but also to expand to her resume and the skills that she does. Besides, modeling is such a short career. Most models retire before they even reach 30.

Vida is really taking advantage of the field and is not afraid to try new things. She is now dabbling with acting. After National Lampoon’s Vacation Dorm Daze 2, she revealed that she is studying a number of scripts including the movie where she plays a singer. That’s one foot definitely in the door for her. She has the makings of a successful actress especially since Latinas are quite in demand right now (just think JLo, Eva Mendes and Michelle Rodriguez). Of course, we all know of the music career she is trying to start with imminent release of her debut album. Vida is also started becoming a voice talent for video games, one of the newest opportunities afforded celebrities.
