Vida had her tonsils removed

I have mentioned in one of my blog entries that Vida has gone through a lot. She was born and raised in communist Cuba and during her teens she said she was involved in a vehicular accident that although she survived, the effects of the accident is something that she still suffers from now. She says she now suffers from partial amnesia and that she usually forgets some things that would easily be remembered otherwise.

Vida for all her health and vigor looks like she is also a regular customer of doctors. A couple of months ago, Vida actually went through a surgery to remove her tonsils. In the interview where she revealed this, she did not mention any reasons for her to undergo the surgical procedure. But I would guess that recording her album would possibly have exacerbated any previous problems with her throat or tonsils.

But despite having just gone through a surgical procedure that would leave your throat sore and painful Vida has shown the kind of quality that has made her a success and one of the most in demand models in the industry. Her dedication to work is pretty evident as she continues to work through her period of recuperation. This kind of tenacity is always Vida’s secret weapon and the reason why she is still getting the kind of attention she is enjoying and why she is continually getting new projects. It’s a go getter attitude that continually drives her to take advantage of any opportunities that come her way.
