Vida working on her debut album

Vida Guerra may be one of the most popular Latinas in the world right now but that does not mean that she is content resting on her proverbial laurels. She is really doing her best to take advantage of her new found popularity and get as many projects going as she can muster to firmly establish her name beyond the confines of just being a ?pretty girl with a butt that could launch a thousand ships.?Vida has already tried acting with the hilarious National Lampoon?s Dorm Daze II: Collage @ Sea and she is currently doing her first hosting job with Primped ? the first reality show that is specifically aimed at mobile phones.

Now Vida is really doing a J Lo as she is actually in the midst of working on her debut album. The new album was supposed to have been titled Theme Park and would have been released last September. But according to Vida herself it has been pushed back to March 2007 as she is still working on some of the songs. The title of the album has also been changed as the song ?Theme Park? has been excised from the track list. Also undetermined at present is whether the single ?Cut It Up? would still be the carrier single.

Vida said that the album will have an R& B flavor and there will be rapping in it. She explained that it will have a very smooth flow and she is quit excited about how it is progressing. Vida also mentioned that she does not mind it getting pushed back again if it would mean she will be giving her fans a better product. Way to go Vida!
